Michael, I got some of the MTM 20ga boxes just for that purpose and the MH rounds won't go in them base down. They are designed to take a 20ga nose down which is .620 or there about. The rims on 577...

I use 12 bore MTM 25 rd boxes, they will take .450/.577 cartridges bullet up so long as the oal is less than 2 3/4".Snider rds fit no problem.I also use MTM 12 bore loading trays for .577" base...
